Amritsar: Sidhu Moosewala’s father reaches civil hospital to identify gangsters killed in encounter
Amritsar, July 21: Slain Punjabi singer Sidhu Moosewala's father Balkaur Singh on Thursday visited Amritsar's civil hospital for the identification of the two shooters —Jagroop Roopa and Manpreet alias Manu kussa—who were killed in an encounter with Punjab Police on July 20.

Notably, Balkaur Singh had filed an FIR against the accused in the Sidhu Moosewala's murder case. Therefore, the Punjab Police brought him to the Amritsar civil hospital for the identification of the shooters Jagroop Rupa and Manpreet Manu who were killed in an encounter with Punjab Police.
Fifty-two days after the daylight brutal murder of Punjabi singer Sidhu Moose Wala in Mansa district, the Punjab police on Wednesday eliminated two notorious gangsters involved in the murder Jagroop Singh Rupa and Manpreet Singh alias Manu Kusa in over four-and-a-half hour encounter in Amritsar district’s Bhakna Kalan village, which is near Attari on the Indo-Pak international border.
Three cops involved in the operation were injured – one on the thigh, one on the chest, and another near the eye – but all of them are out of danger. A reporter too was injured in the operation.
