Assam start-up launches 'Zelensky tea', says it is as 'strong' as Ukrainian Prez
March 21, 2022: Assam-based start-up has launched a tea after the name of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy to honor his courage. The Zelenskyy brand of blended Assam tea has been launched by Ranjit Baruah, Founder-Director of Aromica Tea.
“Zelenskyy”, the really strong tea is a perfect blend of the artisanal-handcrafted orthodox tea and CTC, informed Ranjit Baruah. The tea is inspired by the courage and valour of the Ukrainian President.
"The basic idea is to honour the valour and courage of the Ukrainian president who rejected the US offer to escape war-torn Ukraine. Zelenskyy said he does not need a free ride but ammunition. This shows his character," said Baruah.

The Aromica Tea Founder said that he was so impressed by how the Ukrainian President declined the US government's offer to evacuate him when Russia attacked his country.
"We are trying to draw an analogy between his character and valour and that of the Assam tea," Baruah added.
He further said that the tea aims to send the message to talk about peace and not war, over a cup of strong black Assam tea.
