Azlan Shah Hockey: Korea completes league round with a win over Japan Korea defeated Japan 4-2 for its fourth win in five games in the 28th Azlan Shah Cup Hockey Tournament at Ipoh on Friday. With this win, Korea finished second behind India in the pool standings and will play India for the gold medal match on Saturday. Asian Games champion Japan lost its fourth game in five matches and will play Poland for the wooden spoon. It started well and held Korea to a score of 2-2 till 57th minute. However, in last three minutes, Japan, instead of fighting back, conceded two goals in the 57th and 58th minutes to end with its fourth defeat. Marata Kazuma who scored both the goals for Japan gave his team lead in the 15th minute before two of Korea's trusted scorers - Jang Jonghyun and Lee Namyong - played their role so well to make the score 2-2. Interestingly of the six goals in the game, three came from penalty corners. Jang Jonghyun scored in almost every game. Today he  scored both his goals from penalty corners.
