Barindermeet Singh Pahra (MLA-Gurdaspur)
Punjab Assembly elections 2022: Barindermeet Singh Pahra is an Indian politician and a member of the Indian National Congress (INC). He was born on January 8, 1981, in Gurdaspur. His father's name is Gurmeet Singh and his mother's name is Sukhmeet Kaur. Barindermeet Singh Pahra won the last assembly elections and is the current MLA of Gurdaspur. He won the 2017 assembly elections by defeating Gurdaspur. He was also elected as the Youth Congress president for Gurdaspur Assembly Constituency in the year 2011 and is still a member. He was also a member of the House Committee's Committee on Government Assurance in 2017-18, President of the Gurdaspur Parliamentary Constituency Youth Congress, and a member of the Punjab Vidhan Sabha's Local Bodies and Panchayati Raj Institutions and Public Accounts Committee.
