Bhai Gobind Singh Longowal elected SGPC President for third time

Following the elections, Bhai Gobind Singh Longowal on Wednesday has become the 44th President of Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee (SGPC). SGPC is an organization responsible for the management of historic gurdwaras in three states including Punjab, Haryana, and Himachal Pradesh besides Chandigarh. Bhai Gobind Singh Longowal has been the SGPC president since 2017. The election took place at Teja Singh Samundri Hall, Sri Harmandir Sahib Complex, Amritsar. https://www.ptcnews.tv/chandigarh-onion-prices-rise-to-rs-85-per-kg/ The excecutive committee members are Bakhshish Singh Dabwali, Bhupinder Singh, Gurpal Singh Gora, Sher Singh, Paramjit Kaur, Jasmer Singh, Amarjit Singh Bhalaipur, Sukhjit Singh Kang, Indermohan Singh, Magwinder Singh Khaparkheri and Kuldeep Kaur Tohra Meanwhile, Bhai Rajinder Singh Mehta has been elected as Senior Deputy President, while Jathedar Gurbaksh Singh Khalsa becomes Junior Deputy President.
