Who is supporting and working for the development of those sitting on the streets?" "The petrol and diesel prices have been skyrocketed, manure is expensive, everything has become expensive. They promised that they will double the income of farmers. Instead of doubling their income, the govt has increased the load on farmers," she said. Likewise, she added that the government has threatened the livelihood of farmers by bringing farm laws. Showing the poster (which shows the farmers who died during the agitation), Harsimrat Kaur slammed the Union Minister Narendra Singh Tomar who had said that there has been no data with the government on farmers' deaths at the protest sites. "If other issues can be discussed then why not farm laws?" she questioned. Bathinda MP concluded her speech with the slogan of 'Jai Jawan Jai Kisan' and 'Kisan Mazdoor Ekta Zindabad'. -PTC News
