Punjab Assembly elections 2022: Former Congress leader Captain Harminder Singh who joined Shiromani Akali Dal in October 2021 contested from Sultanpur Lodhi's seat for the Punjab assembly elections 2022.
He lost the battle against Independent candidate Rana Inder Partap Singh as he managed to bag only 17,648 votes.
