Captain meets Rahul Gandhi,meeting remains unfruitful
Punjab Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh meet Congress president Rahul Gandhi, on Thursday at New Delhi party office. PPCC chief Sunil Jakhar was also present in the meeting
The matter to review the performance of Punjab Cabinet Ministers, reshuffling of few Cabinet ministers , appointment of corporation and board chairpersons was to be taken but the meeting remained unfruitful and inconclusive.
There were also chances that the present PPCC chief Sunil Jakhar could be changed after the meeting.Member of Legislative assembly(MLA),Amritsar(West) ,Dr. Raj Kumar Verka is ahead in the race to become next PPCC President.

However ahead of 2019 Lok Sabha Parliament elections,the Congress President Rahul Gandhi is likely to take a final call on it in the next meeting.
