Celebs rush to meet Lata Mangeshkar as her health deteriorates

As Lata Mangeshkar's health condition deteriorates, several Bollywood dignitaries rushed to meet the veteran singer at Mumbai's Breach Candy Hospital. Bollywood actor Shraddha Kapoor visited legendary singer late Saturday night. She was accompanied by her mother Shivangi Kolhapure, who were clicked arriving at the hospital after the news of Mangeshkar’s health being critical was shared by Dr Pratit Samdani. Notably, Dr Samdani is currently treating the legendary singer who is admitted to the ICU ward of Mumbai’s Breach Candy Hospital. Earlier on the day, singer Asha Bhosle visited her elder sister, Lata Mangeshkar. Filmmaker Madhur Bhandarkar, Supriya Sule and Rashmi Thackeray were also seen meeting Lata Mangeshkar. Congress president Sonia Gandhi on Saturday prayed for Lata Mangeshkar's early recovery. "Generations have grown up listening to her melodious voice. India needs her," said the Congress leader. "We are praying that she should recover soon and become healthy quickly. We met her and doctors they said she is better now," said Union minister Piyush Goyal who also visited the singer at the Hospital. For the unversed, Lata Mangeshkar's health condition has deteriorated again and she is critical, said Dr Pratit Samdani, Breach Candy Hospital, on Saturday. Dr Pratit Samdani previously stated that the singer is undergoing intensive therapy and is doing well with the procedures. Due to her critical condition, Mangeshkar was put on ventilator support once again after recovering from Covid-19 and pneumonia. The legendary singer will be monitored by doctors in the intensive care unit. This news comes only days after it was announced that her health was improving and that she was showing consistent signs of recovery.
