PTC Web Desk: A former Nickelodeon child actor has reportedly been seen living on the streets of California, raising alarm among fans and those who once worked closely with him. Tylor Chase, now 36, best known for portraying Martin Qwerly in Ned’s Declassified School Survival Guide, was recently spotted in Riverside, Los Angeles, as shown in a video that has since gone viral.

The video, which began circulating online in September, captures Chase dressed in visibly worn clothes, including an old Los Angeles Raiders polo shirt, while speaking to someone filming him. In the brief interaction, Chase acknowledged his role on the Nickelodeon series that aired from 2004 to 2007. The person recording later recognised him, a moment that prompted widespread emotional reactions once the clip gained traction on social media platforms.

In response to the footage, a crowdfunding campaign was launched in Chase’s name and collected more than $1,200. The fundraiser was subsequently taken down by his mother, who clarified that her son’s situation required medical support rather than financial assistance. She reportedly stated that Chase has refused treatment and faces difficulties managing money and personal items independently.

The matter was later discussed by Chase’s former co-stars Devon Werkheiser, Lindsey Shaw  and Daniel Curtis Lee on an episode of their Ned’s Declassified Podcast Survival Guide. The actors spoke candidly about their shock and distress after seeing the video.

Daniel Curtis Lee admitted he felt conflicted, questioning the morality of recording someone during a difficult phase. Lindsey Shaw expressed a desire to meet Chase and offer him comfort, while Devon Werkheiser described the situation as deeply upsetting.

Despite the circumstances, the former cast members said they remain hopeful that Chase will receive the support he needs and move toward a more stable life.
