Chandigarh: Fancy registration number CH01CZ0001 fetches highest bid of Rs 31L
PTC News Desk: Registration number CH01CZ0001 has fetched highest bid in Chandigarh during e-auctionof fancy registration which concluded on Tuesday. Earlier the highest bid for a fancy number was Rs 26.05 lakh, made in August, 2012 for registration number '0001' of the CH-01-AP series.
Registering and Licensing Authority, Chandigarh, conducted e-auction of vehicle registration numbers (fancy and choice) of the new series "CH01-CZ" from vehicle numbers 0001 to 9999, along with leftover fancy/special registration numbers of previous series from May 18 to May 20. The auction concluded on Tuesday.
Registration number "CH01-CZ-" fetched the highest amount of Rs 31 lakh. The registration number "CH01-CZ-0007" fetched the second highest amount of Rs 13.60 lakh. In the auction, RLA generated revenue of Rs 2.94 crore.
