Chandigarh reports all-time high of 1,834 Covid-19 cases; 2 deaths

Chandigarh reported an all-time high of 1,834 Covid-19 cases and two deaths in the last 24 hours. As many as 391 persons recovered from the disease. As many as 303 patients , including 29 on ventilator, are in hospital. The decision was taken at a review meeting presided over by UT Administrator Banwarilal Purohit here on Thursday. Hotels, restaurants, café, coffee shops and eating places would be allowed to function up to 10 pm. However, kitchens of these premises will be allowed to remain open up to 11 pm and no home delivery would be allowed after midnight. On the other hand, SAS Nagar reported 1,215 Covid-19 cases and no death in 24 hours. As many as 319 recoveries were recorded. Dhakoli reported 143 cases; Derabassi (16), Lalru (4); Boothgarh (64); Gharuan (85); Kharar (310); Kurali (97); Mohali (477) and Banur (19).
