Clashes in Karachi: Following a 'civil war' like situation in Pakistan's Karachi, the Army chief Qamar Javed Bajwa has ordered an inquiry into the rumours that Sindh police chief was kidnapped by the Pakistani Army troops to persuade cops into arresting Safdar, the son-in-law of exiled former PM Nawaz Sharif. As per the statement issued by the military’s media wing, the Army chief has directed the Karachi Corps Commander to “inquire into the circumstances” and file a report as soon as possible.
