Close aide of Congress leader on run for raping a model
Baljit Chaudhary, who is a close aide of Jagmohan Singh Kang,former Member of Punjab Legislative assembly (MLA) from Kharar and ex-cabinet minister, is on the run from police for last three days for raping a model.
A 20-year-old model has accused Baljit Chaudhary of raping her, on Friday night. The model was allegedly raped by the 28-year-old man on Friday night at her accommodation in Sector 63.
Chaudhary, in his Facebook profile,has flaunted various pictures with the former MLA from Kharar. He also supported Jagmohan Kang during the 2017 assembly elections.
Baljit Chaudhary, who is also a leader of Panjab University Student's Union (PUSU) has been declared a proclaimed offender (PO) by the Chandigarh District Court. Apart from it,there are two separate cases registered against him in Chandigarh police stations
