Rahul Gandhi approves the candidature of Hardev Singh Laddi for Shahkot byPoll
Congress President Rahul Gandhi on Thursday morning approved the candidate of Shri Hardev Singh Singh Ladi as Congress candidature for the ensuring bye-election to the Legislative Assembly of Punjab from 32 -Shahkot Constituency.
The Election Commission (EC) on Wednesday ordered the transfer of Shahkot SDM and two station house officers (SHOs), ahead of the bypoll to the Shahkot assembly constituency on May 28.
The Shahkot seat fell vacant following the death of incumbent MLA and senior SAD leader Ajit Singh Kohar.
