Patiala House Court on Friday stayed the decision of lodging an FIR against DSGMC Chief Manjit Singh GK in a financial irregularities case in Gurudwara management committee.

The Patiala House Court on Thursday had ordered the Delhi police to file an FIR against Delhi Sikh Gurudwara Management Committee (DSGMC) leader Manjit Singh GK and other members in a financial irregularities case within 24 hours.The next hearing of the case will be taken up on January 7.

The Patiala House Court had ordered to lodge an FIR against DSGMC leader Manjit Singh GK, DSGMC General Manager Harjit Sigh Subedar and Joint Secretary Amarjit Singh Pappu.

The Delhi Sikh Gurudwara Management Committee president, Manjit Singh GK along with 15 executive members of DSGMC had resigned from their posts during a meeting of the executive committee on December 6.

The decision was taken by the committee to overcome the crisis as the opposition leader, Gurmeet Singh Shanty and Paramjit Singh Sarna, former DSGMC chief had leveled the allegations of corruption in Gurudwara management committee.
Meanwhile, Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) president Sukhbir Singh Badal on Thursday had dissolved the party unit in Delhi an hour before Patiala House Court ordered to lodge an FIR against Manjit Singh GK.
