Punjab Assembly Elections 2022: Dakha constituency is located in the Ludhiana district of Punjab. It is one of the 117 seats of Punjab Vidhan Sabha. Aam Aadmi Party's Harvinder Singh Phoolka won the last assembly elections and is the current MLA of Dakha. He won the 2017 elections by defeating Manpreet Singh Ayali of Shiromani Akali Dal with a margin of 4,169 votes. Voters According to the voter list for the 2017 assembly elections, the total number of voters in the constituency is 1,78,825. 218 polling stations were established by the election commission during these elections. A total of 1,45,771 votes were cast in the Dakha constituency and the percentage was 81.52%, which was recorded higher than the state average. Candidates Aam Aadmi Party's Harvinder Singh Phoolka, Shiromani Akali Dal's Manpreet Singh Ayali and Congress' Major Singh Bhaini were MLA candidates for the Dakha constituency in 2017 Punjab assembly elections. Harvinder Singh Phoolka (AAP) grabbed 58,923 votes, while Manpreet Singh Ayali (SAD) got 54,754 votes. Major Singh Bhaini (Congress) managed to get 28,571 votes.
