Delhi logs 4,483 fresh Covid cases, positivity rate at 7.41 %
Delhi Covid Update: Delhi reported 4,483 new Covid-19 cases on Saturday, with a positivity rate of 7.41 percent. As many as 28 new deaths were reported in the national capital in the day.
As many as 8,807 people infected by the Covid-19 virus were recovered on Saturday. As of now, the total number of active Covid cases in Delhi is 24,800.
Despite a significant decline in daily Covid cases in Delhi, the national capital has over 39,000 containment zone.

According to an official update by the Delhi health department, the number of Covid containment zones in the city stood at 39, 869 on Saturday, a dip from 41, 095 on Friday.
Furthermore, the Delhi government has lifted the weekend curfew and revised the Covid restrictions in the national capital, as per the latest update. But, the night curfew, currently imposed on weekdays from 10 pm to 5 am, will continue to be in force.
Meanwhile, India on Saturday reported 2,35,532 new Covid-19 cases. As many as 871 Covid patients succumbed to the infection on the day. However, 3,35,939 recoveries were reported in the last 24 hours.
As per the latest Covid update, the daily positivity rate has reduced to 13.39%. The number of active Covid cases in India is 20,04,333, as of Saturday.
