Delhi : Three suspected terrorists with Islamic State link, arrested
Delhi Police’s special cell and Jammu and Kashmir Police arrested three suspected terrorists associated with Islamic State in Jammu and Kashmir (ISJK) early on Sunday.
The special cell has recovered hand grenades and weapons from their possession. The terrorists have been identified as Tahir Ali Khan, Haris Mushtaq Khan and Asif Suhail Nadaf.
The three men were arrested from near a tourist information centre in Kothibagh near Srinagar in a joint operation. Pramod Singh Kushwah, Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) Special Cell said,” The trio were planning a big attack in the national capital.”
The arrests came three days after the Delhi Police issued an advisory on the presence of two suspected terrorists in the city.
