Dr. C.S Pruthi appointed as member in PMC (Punjab Medical Council)
Dr. C.S Pruthi has been appointed as member in PMC (Punjab Medical Council).
Dr. Chranjit Singh Pruthi qualified M.D. in Medicine in the year 1982 from the Government Medical College, Amritsar.

Subsequently, he joined the Guru Nanak Mission Hospital, Jalandhar in June 1983 to serve the ailing humanity on no charges basis. The patients from the lowest to the highest strata turned out in hundreds daily. First he served single handedly 24 X 7 as the Doctor on duty and later was provided assistance of other doctors from time to time.
After being satisfied that he would be leaving the hospital management in the competent and trained hands, the Management gave him the leave and blessings on Baisakhi day of 1987 to start his private practice.
After setting up Pruthi Hospital, multi speciality hospital, it was felt that there was a need of providing an hospital for heart surgery in the Northern region of the country, Dr. Pruthi with dint of his hard work and dedication established BBC Heart Care and it became the pioneer hospital of heart surgery; It was inaugurated by Dr. Manmohan Singh the then Finance Minister on the day next to Republic Day of 1996 i.e. 27 January, 1996.
Thereafter, Dr. Pruthi established a Multi Super Speciality Hospital in the name and style of Capitol Hospital. The Capitol Hospital an ultra modern hospital built on an area of more than 5 acres of land and is built as per the best international design practices. The Hospital is centrally air conditioned and provides comprehensive medical treatment in the sphere of Neurology, Neuro Surgery, Cardiology, Cardiac Surgery, Orthopedics & Joint replacement, Urology, Nephrology, General Medicine, General Surgery, Radiology, Pathology, Microbiology, Nuclear Medicine (PET-CT), Surgical Oncology, Medical Oncology and Radiation Oncology. The Hospital provides holistic treatment of Cancer.
Dr. Pruthi is a member of American College of Cardiology, Cardiology Society of India and Indian Medical Association. He is also member of National Health Commission for State of Punjab.

Recognizing the contribution of Dr. Charnjit Singh Pruthi in the field of Medical Science, the Government of Punjab has appointed him a member of the Punjab Medical Council.
