DSGMC Offers To Construct 100 Room Sarai at Kartarpur Sahib

DSGMC Offers To Construct 100 Room Sarai at Kartarpur Sahib The Delhi Sikh Gurdwara Management Committee has offered to construct a 100-room sarai at Sri Kartarpur Sahib. In a letter to the Prime Minister of Pakistan Imran Khan, the DSGMC chief, Mr Manjit Singh GK, has offered assistance in building and maintaining the sarai. He further requested the Pakistan Government to allow appropriate piece of land for the proposed sarai. Also Read: Kartarpur Sahib corridor to be completed in four and a half months: Gadkari   Delhi Sikh Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan will lay the foundation stone for the construction of the Dera Baba Nanak-Karatarpur Sahib road corridor today (November 28). It will facilitate visa-free movement of Indian Sikh pilgrims. Pakistan Foreign Minister, Shah Mehmood Qureshi extended an invitation to External Affairs Minister, Sushma Swaraj, Punjab Chief Minister, Amarinder Singh, and Punjab Cabinet Minister, Navjot Singh Sidhu, to attend the ceremony at Kartarpur. Kartarpur Swaraj thanked him for the invitation and said that India will send Union ministers Harsimrat Kaur Badal and Hardeep Singh Puri to Pakistan to attend the groundbreaking ceremony of the Kartarpur corridor.
