Taking cognisance of the 'Muslim vote' appeal, the Election Commission has now imposed a 72-hour campaigning ban on Punjab Congress Minister Navjot Singh Sidhu for violating the Model Code of Conduct. Following which a campaigning ban has been imposed on the leader for 72 hours starting 10 AM on Tuesday
