Aamir Khan, Gauri Spratt tie the knot in intimate ceremony at Mumbai residence
PTC News Desk: After being in a relationship for more than two years, Bollywood actor Aamir Khan and Gauri Spratt have got married. The couple tied the knot in a private ceremony at Aamir's home in Bandra, Mumbai, on Sunday, in the presence of close family members and friends, including their children from previous marriages.
Aamir's spokesperson confirmed that the couple is now officially married. His children, Ira Khan and Junaid Khan, attended the wedding. Several close friends and well-known personalities, including Ashutosh Gowariker, Elli AvrRam, Irfan Pathan, Raj Thackeray and Vir Das, were also present.
Aamir and Gauri's relationship began in 2024 after they reconnected in Bengaluru through Aamir's cousin. Although they had first met about 25 years ago, they started dating in 2024 and were in a long-distance relationship for nearly a year.
Aamir publicly introduced Gauri as his partner on his 60th birthday in March 2025. At the time, he said he was not planning a third marriage but felt happy and settled in the relationship.
Gauri later moved from Bengaluru to Mumbai with her son from a previous marriage. She now works with Aamir at Aamir Khan Productions, after previously working for a haircare company.
The couple has been living together at Aamir's Mumbai residence for more than a year. Last month, Aamir confirmed that they had decided to get married. He recently said that the wedding would be a registered marriage followed by a small celebration attended only by family members and close friends.
