Diljit Dosanjh puts 'Border 2' exit rumours to rest, shares BTS clip on social media
Amid massive controversy surrounding casting Pakistani actors in Sardar Ji 3 and subsequent mounting calls for Diljit Dosanjh's ouster from Border 2, the Punjabi singer has put rest all the rumours. Diljit took to his social media and shared a behind the scenes clip from the sets of Border 2 confirming his role in the Border franchise.
The video featured Diljit Dosanjh walking out of his vanity van in a formal suit with a batch and army's logo on it. He then walks inside the set as he gets ready for the shooting sequence of a dance.

According to India Today, Federation of Western India Cine Employees (FWICE) President BN Tiwari said Bhushan Kumar urged him to let Diljit be part of the shoot. The federation accepted the request and revoked the order.
Earlier, it was reported that Dosanjh has been replaced in 'Border 2' amid the controversy surrounding his film 'Sardaar Ji 3', which faced backlash for casting Pakistani actor Hania Aamir.
However contrary to the buzz, it is very much clear that Diljit Dosanjh is a part of forthcoming film. The film that focuses on Indian Army also features Varun Dhawan, Sunny Deol and Ahan Shetty in key roles.
Previously, Diljit shared a video on Instagram in which he received a warm welcome on sets of 'Border 2'. The makers also shared a photo of the entire cast.
The film is slated for theatrical release on January 23, 2026.
