Kolkata: Salman Khan meets CM Mamata Banerjee ahead of his concert
Kolkata (West Bengal), May 13: Salman Khan met West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee at her Kalighat bungalow before his 'DA-BANGG' concert in the City of Joy on Saturday.
While Shah Rukh Khan is a frequent visitor to Kolkata, Salman doesn't come to the city so often, so it was a rare occasion for the Kolkatans to have 'Bhaijan' from close quarters.
Salman donned a light-coloured half-sleeved tee with matching trousers. The Dabangg actor wore black sunglasses and exuded a swagger. He met the Chief Minister with folded hands, while Mamata greeted him by offering 'Uttario' around his neck. Salman and Mamata Banerjee also posed for a photo-op.
Taking to social media, Salman earlier shared about the show: "KOLKATA get ready for DA-BANGG THE TOUR - RELOADED.”
Meanwhile, the 'Bajrangi Bhaijaan' actor was most recently seen in 'Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan,' opposite Pooja Hegde.
Salman will next be seen in Tiger 3, directed by Maneesh Sharma, opposite Katrina Kaif and Emraan Hashmi.
The film will be released in Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu on November 10, Diwali.
