'No Spoilers Please': Dhurandhar Director Aditya Dhar Makes Emotional Plea Ahead of Film's Release

The mega blockbuster 'Dhurandhar: The Revenge' of the 2026 is all set for its threatical release, but before it reached the audience, the director has a special request for all. Ranveer Singh starrer Dhurandhar: The Revenge will be release in the theaters on March 19. 

Taking to the social media accounts, the director of the film Aditya Dhar has shared a long note on his social media acounts highlighting the journey of the film. 


Aditya Dhar expressed his gratitude and thanked the viewers for the successful rundown of the first film 'Dhurandhar' which was released in November 2025. In addition to this, he also requested audience to protect the viewing experience of the other cinema goers by not giving any spoilers of the film.

He reflected on the remarkable journey of Dhurandhar, expressing gratitude for the overwhelming love the film has received since its release. Recalling its debut on 5 December 2025, Dhar acknowledged how what began as a cinematic project soon transformed into a cultural phenomenon, shaped as much by audiences as by its creators. He noted that the team approached the sequel with a strong sense of responsibility, aware of the deep connection viewers had formed with the story. At the same time, he made a sincere appeal to fans to preserve the theatrical experience by refraining from sharing spoilers.

In a heartfelt message addressed to fans, Aditya Dhar described them as his “dearest, most extraordinary Dhurandhar family.” He emphasized that audiences did far more than simply watch the film - they immersed themselves in it, appreciated its subtleties, and engaged in thoughtful discussions about its many layers. Viewers revisited the film multiple times, often discovering details that even the filmmaker had not anticipated would be noticed.

Aditya Dhar also reflected on the film’s organic and unexpected rise to global recognition. He shared how, over time, the film seemed to take on a life of its own - first becoming beloved by its core audience, then resonating across the nation, and eventually reaching viewers around the world. He described this journey as both beautiful and unpredictable, calling the audience’s embrace of the film the most humbling and moving reward a filmmaker could receive.
