Shefali Jariwala death: Body was found at her residence, later sent to hospital, say Mumbai cops
PTC News Desk: Mumbai police on Saturday shared an official statement following the death of actor and model Shefali Jariwala and clarified that they are investigation the matter and trying to ascertain the cause of death.
Various reports earlier suggested that the 42-year-old died after suffering a cardiac arrest.
A Mumbai Police official said that Jariwala was found dead at her apartment on Friday night. "Her body was found at her residence in the Andheri area. Mumbai Police received information about this at 1 am. Her body has been sent to Cooper Hospital for postmortem. The cause of death is not yet clear," the police said.
A team of foresic experts was also seen entering her residence once the police was informed.
According to the media reports, Jariwala was taken to the hospital by her husband Parag Tyagi where the doctors declared her dead. Her body was later sent to Cooper Hospital for postmortem.
Jariwala's family and hospital have not yet released official statement about her death.
In her last post on social media, the actor shared a tribute to the late actor and her ex-boyfriend, Sidharth Shukla, who died of a heart attack in 2021.
