Anuj Thakur dies at 33: Popular TV actor passes away in his sleep
PTC Web Desk: The television industry is mourning the loss of actor Anuj Thakur, who has died at just 33. He passed away on October 27 after reportedly suffering a seizure while he was asleep.
Anuj was seen in TV shows such as 'Dhoom Machao Dhoom', 'Bandhan Saath Janmon Ka', 'Beend Banoonga Ghodi Chadhunga' and 'Mahisagar'.
His friend and colleague Rupesh Sonar shared the sad news. On October 30, he posted a heartfelt tribute for Anuj on Instagram. He wrote that he was still struggling to believe that Anuj was gone. He said Anuj was more than a friend to him and felt like a younger brother. Rupesh also recalled how he had seen Anuj struggle in his early days in the industry and grow over the years. The two had many projects planned together, he said. He ended the post by calling life unpredictable and saying Anuj would always be remembered.
What happened
As per Rupesh, he visited Anuj’s mother and brother on Saturday. The family told him that Anuj had a seizure and died during it. Rupesh also shared details of Anuj’s daily routine. According to him, Anuj was an early riser who woke up at 4:30 am every day. He usually started his day with exercise and jogging. On the day he died, though, he did not wake up. His alarm rang at 4:30 am as usual. When his mother went to his room to wake him, she found that he had already passed away.
Anuj’s sudden death at such a young age has left his friends, family and fans in shock.
