Exit Poll 2022: Which party is predicted to form govt in Punjab? All you need to know
Chandigarh, March 7: With the Assembly elections in five state — Punjab, Manipur, Uttarakhand, Goa and Uttar Pradesh over, the exit poll 2022 results are out.
The result of India Today — Axis My India Exit Poll for the Punjab Assembly elections 2022 predicts a landslide victory for the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP). The poll predicted that Arvind Kejriwal-led AAP will win 41 percent of votes or 76-90 seats in the 117-seat Assembly.
The Congress can get between 19-31 seats; SAD-BSP alliance 7-11, BJP Punab Lok Congress SAD (Sanyukt) may get 1-4 seats.

ETG Research's poll also shows the AAP winning 70-75 seats in the 117-seat Assembly in the Exit Polls 2022 in Punjab.
NewsX-Polstrat poll shows the AAP getting 56-61 seats, while Republic TV shows Arvind Kejriwal's party getting 62-70 seats in the exit polls 2022.
Dainik Bhaskar has also predicted that the AAP can become the single largest party by winning 38 to 44 seats out of 117 seats in the Punjab Assembly. With 30 to 39 seats, the Akali Dal-BSP alliance may remain at number two. The Congress has suffered the most in this election. The Congress, which got a two-thirds majority in 2017 by winning 77 seats led by Captain Amarinder Singh, is likely to get only 26 to 32 seats this time.
ABP Sanjha (Punjabi) has predicted 51-61 seats for AAP, Congress: 22-28; SAD: 20-26;
BJP: 7-13; others 1-05.
TIMES NOW/VETO has predicted 22 seats for Congress; SAD-BSP:19; BJP Punjab Lok Congress SAD (Sanyukt): 5; AAP 70 and others 01.

Political pundits say if the AAP comes to power in Punjab, Arvind Kejriwal would run a full state unlike Delhi, which is a Union Territory.
