Fuel Price Alert: Hike in fuel prices for 5th straight day! Petrol prices have gone up by 12 paise per litre and diesel has gone up by 18 paise per litre, here on Thursday. In Delhi, the prices of diesel advanced towards an all time high 70-mark at Rs 69.93 per litre. For Mumbai and Kolkata, diesel prices shot up to Rs 74.24 and Rs 72.78 per litre. On Thursday, petrol prices appreciated to Rs 78.30 per litre in Delhi, Rs 85.72 per litre in Mumbai and Rs 81.23 per litre in Kolkata. The plunge in rupee to its historic low on the Wednesday at 70.59 against dollar and rising crude oil prices have led to fuel prices to ascend. -PTC News
