HC sends notice to Pathanmajra, SSP of Mohali over allegations levelled by MLA's second wife
Mohali, August 30: Punjab and Haryana High Court on Tuesday heard the petition filed by AAP MLA Harmeet Pathanmajra’s second wife Gurpreet Kaura and sent notice to SSP of Mohali including Pathanmajra, his nephew, security guard, SHO of Zirakpur, DGP of Punjab seeking reply in the matter .

The Honorable High Court has also issued directions to the Punjab Government to ensure the safety of the petitioner. Petitioner alleged that she has been receiving death threats from Pathanmajra and his nephew.
In her petition, MLA’s second wife Gurpreet Kaur has alleged that she was physically and mentally abused and that SSP Mohali had refused to register complaint Pathanmajra.
Making serious allegations against AAP legislator, Gurpreet had earlier filed a written complaint to the Zirakpur police alleging dire threats to her life from the MLA and his maternal brother. She alleged that Pathanmajra married her on August 14 without divorcing her first wife.
“Harmeet Singh Pathanmajra and his maternal brother have been threatening me ever since I have shared our marriage picture on social media sites,” alleged Gurpreet in her complaint
