Heavy Rain, Poor Drainage System Leaves City Roads Flooded In Patiala Patiala came to a standstill on Wednesday morning when heavy rains inundated many parts of the city. The city residents found inundated roads and drainage water entering their houses in low-lying areas. However, if the drainage system of Patiala had been better maintained, the city may not have suffered such a situation. The rain also exposed the tall claims made by the local administration about the preparation for dealing with the problem of water-logging during the rainy season. All major roads and residential areas of the town were flooded with rainwater due to which the local residents had to face a lot of problems.
