Independence Day 2022: Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann unfurls Tricolour in Ludhiana
Ludhiana, August 15 : Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann on Monday hoisted National flag at Ludhiana's Stadium to mark 75th Independence Day.
The tricolor flag was hoisted by Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann during the state level event in Ludhiana. On the occasion of Independence Day, Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann hoisted the flag at Guru Nanak Stadium in Ludhiana. Elaborate arrangements was made for the security of CM Mann.
On this occasion, he was accompanied by DGP. Gaurav Yadav, ADGP Pramod Ban, Deputy Commissioner Surbhi Malik and Police Commissioner Kaustubh Sharma were also present. Strict security arrangements were made by the police in Guru Nanak Stadium, where the program is being held, and in the surrounding area. The Chief Minister also took a salute from the effective parade. After this, in his address, he remembered the martyrs who contributed to freedom. He encouraged them to follow the path shown by the martyrs. On this occasion, he said that the Punjab of dreams of martyrs will be created.
On this occasion, he bowed down remembering the sacrifice of the martyrs. Also remembered Shaheed-e-Azam Bhagat Singh, Rajguru and Sukhdev . On this occasion, Bhagwant Mann said that girls have full right to progress and we should give full opportunity to girls.
