India, Denmark ink nine agreements after PM Modi holds talks with Danish counterpart

Copenhagen (Denmark), May 3: India and Denmark on Tuesday signed nine agreements after Prime Minister Narendra Modi held talks with his Danish counterpart Mette Frederiksen. The signing of the agreements took place during the Indian Prime Minister's one-day visit to Denmark and was witnessed by PM Modi and Frederiksen in Copenhagen. The nine agreements include the letter of intent between the Ministry of Ports, Shipping and Waterways, GOI and the Ministry of Business, Industry and Financial Affairs of Denmark on the Centre of Excellence in Green Shipping, according to the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA). A Declaration of Intent (DoI) on Migration and Mobility was also signed between the two countries on Tuesday. India, Denmark sign nine agreements (1) Both sides further signed the Cultural Exchange Programme (CEP) between the Ministry of Culture, GoI and the Ministry of Culture of Denmark for the years 2022-2026. India, Denmark sign nine agreements (1) Agreements on Joint Declaration of Intent (JDI) on Cooperation in the fields of Animal Husbandry & Dairying, and Launch of Energy Policy Dialogue at the Ministerial level, were also signed. Furthermore, both sides inked agreements on India to join as mission partner to ICARS (International Centre for Anti-Microbial Resistance Solution), and letter of intent between Invest India and Technical University of Denmark to facilitate start-up collaboration. PM Modi arrived in Copenhagen on Tuesday for a one-day visit. This trip to Denmark began shortly after he visited Berlin.
