Jammu and Kashmir: CRPF jawan dies under suspicious circumstances
A CRPF jawan died due to bullet injuries under mysterious circumstances on Tuesday. He was posted at the residence of a former legislator in Bhatindi area in Jammu. The deceased jawan was identified as Head constable Gaj Singh, from Haryana was found lying on the ground by the security staff after they heard gunshots around 12:00 am.

The security staff rushed to a nearby hospital. The doctors declared him brought dead. A post-mortem was conducted on the CRPF jawan following which the body was handed over to the officials.

The police checked Gaj Singh's call details during investigation. He received a call from his home around 11.30 pm, just before the firing incident took place. It also revealed that the bullets were fired from Gaj Singh’s gun only.
