Punjab Novelist Jaswant Singh Kanwal passes away

Jaswant Singh Kanwal Death: Punjab's Novelist Jaswant Singh Kanwal, 101, passed away on Saturday. Kanwal was born on June 27, 1919. Jaswant Singh was a novelist, short story writer and essayist of the Punjabi language. Kanwal was born in the village of Dhudike, Moga District, Punjab. He left the school while he was a teenager and went to Malaya, where he got interested in literature. After few years, Kanwal returned to Dhudike and lived there ever since.
