Chandigarh's 18-year-old Mehakdeep delivers stirring speech in Parliamant on Gandhi Jayanti

Chandigarh, October 7: In a remarkable display of talent and dedication, 18-year-old Mehakdeep, a student of Class 11, from Chandigarh recently delivered a speech in Parliament that garnered widespread appreciation. Mehakdeep, who has achieved several national-level accomplishments, has always had a deep interest in arts and culture.

Her journey into solo drama performances caught the attention of many, especially when she portrayed Amrita Pritam's creation in Bhubaneshwar. Her solo drama, centered around Prime Minister Narendra Modi, drew considerable admiration.


Mehakdeep also delivered a speech in Parliament on October 2, Gandhi Jayanti, advocating for making Parliament of 20 nations a green institution. During her speech, she also paid a heartfelt tribute to India's former Prime Minister, Lal Bahadur Shastri, highlighting his simplicity, education, and camaraderie.



Besides, Mehakdeep has secured the first position in solo drama at the National Youth Festival held in Bhubaneshwar.

Mehakdeep was also invited to participate in the Republic Day Parade.

This Chandigarh girl's achievements have not only been in the realm of drama but also extend to her academic pursuits. She intends to continue her journey in theater and acting while also pursuing a doctorate in psychology to guide and inspire young minds. Her dedication and passion make her a promising young talent in India.
