NEET UG 2025: List of Banned Items at Exam Centre
All candidates will undergo mandatory frisking using highly sensitive metal detectors before entering the examination hall. The NTA has issued a strict list of items not allowed inside the exam centre under any circumstances:
Religious/Cultural Exceptions and Early Reporting
Candidates wearing articles of faith for religious or cultural reasons (such as turbans, hijabs, etc.) must report at the exam venue at least two hours before the last reporting time, allowing time for additional checks. If suspected devices are discovered concealed within such articles, the candidate may be asked to remove the item or be denied entry into the exam hall.
Important Note: The NTA will not make arrangements for safekeeping of any personal items or banned articles at the examination centres. Candidates are therefore advised not to bring prohibited items to the venue.
