UGC-NET 2024: Exam schedule out, check date and more
UGC-NET 2024: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has announced the examination schedule for the University Grants Commission - National Eligibility Test (UGC-NET) June 2024 exam. The exam will be conducted in two shifts on June 18, 2024. The shift 1 exam will be held from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., and the shift 2 exam from 3 p.m. to 6 pm.
The UGC-NET will be administered in OMR (Pen and Paper) mode to 83 subjects. The NTA's official website provides a complete exam schedule.
The notification regarding the city of the exam centre will be displayed on the NTA website(s) https://ugcnet.nta.ac.in and www.nta.ac.in.
The exam is held for the award of a Junior Research Fellowship, appointment as an Assistant Professor, and admission to the PhD programme.
The UGC-NET is an important exam that determines eligibility for a variety of academic opportunities, including the Junior Research Fellowship, appointment as an assistant professor, and admission to PhD programmes at Indian universities and colleges.
The NTA has conducted the exam in Computer Based Test (CBT) mode since December 2018. UGC-NET is held twice a year, in June and December.
