California Helicopter Crash, Kobe Bryant death: American basketball legend Kobe Bryant and his 13-year-old daughter Gianna Maria Onore Bryant were among the nine people killed when a helicopter, they were travelling in, crashed due to foggy conditions and burst into flames in the hills above Calabasas, a city in California. Bryant (41) and his daughter were expected at the Mamba Sports Academy in Thousand Oaks for a basketball match that was scheduled to be held on Sunday afternoon, CNN reported. Meanwhile, Los Angeles County Sheriff Alex Villanueva told reporters that nine people – including the pilot – were on board the helicopter that crashed. Los Angeles County Fire Department Chief Daryl Osby said that "No one survived the crash. Also, the identification of the rest of the deceased is yet to be ascertained.
