Punjab Assembly elections 2022: Congress' Kuldeep Singh Vaid will contest the upcoming Punjab Assembly Elections from the Gill constituency. The former IAS officer joined politics after resigning from civil services in 2016. In the 2017 Punjab Legislative Assembly elections, he fought from Gill constituency. He is also a member of the Committee on Public Accounts and House Committee; member of the Committee on Local Bodies and Panchayati Raj Institutions; and member of Committee on Privileges.
