10 killed, 7 injured as truck collides with SUV in Maharashtra
Maharashtra Road Accident: In a major road accident, ten people were killed and seven others injured after a dumper truck collided with SUV car in Jalgaon district of Maharashtra, a police official said on Monday.
The accident took place at around 11 pm on Sunday when Balu Narayan Chowdhary and his family were on their way to Chinchol village. They were returning to home after attending a marriage function at Chopra village.
According to the information, a dumper truck was coming from the opposite direction which rammed into the SUV on Chopra-Faizpur road near Hingola village in Yaval tehsil, the official at Faizpur police station reported.
As per report, Balu Narayan Chowdhary, his wife and eight other SUV occupants died on the spot. Meanwhile, seven others in the car sustained severe injuries and they were rushed to hospital in Jalgaon.

The official of Faizpur police station reported that the victims were residents of Chinchol and Mehul villages under Muktai tehsil.
