Here's how parents may recover Rs 16 lakh spent on PUBG by teenager in Mohali
As per the cyber-security consultations, the money may be recovered within the span of 120 days only if the payment has been made through Google Play.
As per the experts, the parents have to write a notice to PUBG providing details including his PUBG ID, card details, transaction dates, payment details, and proof that the account belongs to them, not to his son.
Reportedly, teenagers cannot withdraw from their parents' accounts without their consent. An expert claimed that if such an incident occurs with third party purchase, the money may be refunded in 120 days subject to the terms and conditions.
The expert further told that in most cases, the party holds money for a week and if someone claims unauthorised transaction in a given period subject to the policy, the money gets refunded.
