Moradabad Road Accident: Many people are believed to be dead after a bus carrying 50-60 passengers collided on the Delhi-Lucknow highway near Moradabad.

Moradabad's road accident took place at about 6 am on Monday. Those injured have been admitted to Moradabad District Hospital while the casualty count is likely to go up as several injured were in critical condition.

The eyewitnesses revealed that there were about 50-60 passengers on the bus. DCM Truck was also carrying over 25 people. The police rushed to the site and the matter was being probed by officials from the Pakbada police station of Moradabad.
One of the travelers on the truck said that the driver had stopped by the police. A bus came from behind. Three men were killed on the spot. The deceased have been identified as Ashish, Suresh, and Nanhe.
SP, City, Amit Anand said that "Five people lost their lives while the injured have been rushed to the hospital.
However, the district administration was yet to release the official death toll as the focus was on saving the lives of the injured passengers.

As per the report, a private bus traveling between Punjab and Pilbhit rammed into a truck from behind. Many passengers were killed on the spot, however, the exact casualty count was being ascertained.
