MS Dhoni retirement: Former Under-19 Coach and Mahendra Singh Dhoni's childhood coach, Keshav Banerjee revealed that even his parents want him to quit cricket. Mahendra Singh Dhoni retirement has been in speculations after India lost the semi-final match against New Zealand in ICC Cricket World Cup 2019. Maahi was speculated to not even play this World Cup, but the former Indian skipper managed to make a place in the team, keeping in mind the experience and his pleasant service for the nation.

MS Dhoni in the semi-finals was leading the team from the front while the top-order was demolished by the Kiwis at the score of 5/3. 25 needed off 10 balls, and the all the hopes were from the finisher Mahendra Singh Dhoni, till Martin Guptill crushed the dreams of millions with a thunderous direct hit and dismissed Maahi, who was on fire. Likewise, the captain cool, for the first time ever seen crying. Afterward, there were several memes on social media comparing his debut match and alleging the semi-final as his last match.

In a debut match, MS Dhoni was dismissed on a run out by inches, just like he was dismissed in the semi-finals by Martin Guptill. Meanwhile, the whole nation cried, "Do Not Retire Dhoni". Also, the legendary singer Lata Mangeshkar asked him to not to think about retirement. 
Amid all these situations, the childhood coach of MS Dhoni, Keshav Banerjee revealed that now his parents also want Dhoni to retire. Meanwhile, there's no clarification on his retirement as the finisher MS Dhoni hasn't spoken up on the issue. Let's hope, that the captain cool should not retire as the player is a gem and such players are born once in decades.
