Mumbai: Killer ‘saas’ walks into police station; confesses to killing Bahu
In a shocking incident, a 48-year-old woman went to Manekpur police station in Mumbai on Sunday and confessed to killing her own daughter-in-law. Meanwhile, the accused has been identified as Anandi Mane. Allegedly, she killed her daughter-in-law Riya alias Swati Mane with a metal vase when the latter was sleeping. Anandi allegedly killed her daughter-in-law as she had "taken her son away", because her son shifted to the United States after marriage. Riya and Anandi's son Rohan got married around five years ago. Rohan is an engineer by profession. He shifted to the USA after marriage. As per reports, the couple decided to shift abroad after Riya got a job as a nurse in Houston, Texas. The duo also has a daughter.
