2 killed as SUV in convoy of Brij Bhushan Singh's son hits bike
UP tragedy: In a tragic and dreadful incident, two individuals killed when Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh’s son, Karan Singh Bhushan’s Toyota Fortuner SUV hit a bike.
The horrific incident unfolded on a busy road, leading to immediate media coverage and public outcry.
Several videos going viral on social media, shows the SUV with "police escort" written on the rear windscreen, suggesting it is part of a VIP convoy.
The Toyota Fortuner SUV’s number is UP32HW1800 and as per the reports car is registered in the name of Nandini Nagar educational institute run by Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh's family.
According to the FIR, Chanda Begum reported that around 9 am, her 17-year-old son Rehan and 24-year-old nephew Shahzad were on a motorcycle to purchase medicines when a speeding SUV, coming from the opposite direction, collided with their bike.
Both Rehan and Shahzad died instantly.
The police arrested the driver, Luvkush Srivastava, and seized the SUV involved in the accident.
However, it remains unconfirmed whether Karan Bhushan Singh was present with the convoy during the incident.
Farman Khan, a relative of the victims, described arriving at the accident site to find blood on the road and that Rehan and Shahzad had already been taken to the hospital.
Local residents informed him that a convoy of 4-5 cars, including a Fortuner, belonging to Karan Bhushan Singh was passing through when the SUV hit the bike.
