Amit Shah escapes mishap as chopper briefly loses control in Bihar
PTC News Desk: Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Monday had a narrow escape as his helicopter lost control for a brief period before taking off from Bihar's Begusarai.
The 59-year-old senior BJP leader was in Bihar for a poll rally.
In the video, the chopper is seen taking off, swaying to the right and almost touching the ground before the pilot regains control and the helicopter resumes its trajectory.
Meanwhile, Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy has been summoned by the Delhi Police on Wednesday regarding a manipulated video allegedly portraying Home Minister Amit Shah advocating for the abolition of reservation quotas for Scheduled Castes (SCs), Scheduled Tribes (STs), and Other Backward Classes (OBCs). besides, four others from Telangana have received notices to participate in the inquiry into the doctored video case.
The controversy erupted after the video surfaced on social media platforms, purportedly shared by the official handle of the Telangana Congress. Many party leaders reposted the video, alleging that it depicted the BJP's purported agenda to eliminate SC/ST reservation quotas. Prompted by complaints from the BJP and the Home Ministry, the Delhi Police initiated an investigation into the doctored video, registering a case under various sections of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) and the Information Technology (IT) Act.
