Amritpal Singh's wife Kirandeep Kaur meets him at Assam jail
Dibrugarh (Assam), May 4: Amritpal Singh's wife, Kirandeep Kaur, met him at Dibrugarh jail on Thursday, weeks after the radical preacher and 'Waris Punjab De' head was arrested in Moga.
The Khalistan preacher was arrested by Punjab Police in Punjab's Moga on April 23 and later shifted to Dibrugarh jail in Assam. Moreover, at least 10 'Waris Punjab De' members, including Amritpal Singh, are currently lodged in Dibrugarh jail under National Security Act (NSA).

According to authorities, the arrest was made with the help of the Punjab Police and the Central intelligence agencies.
Previously, in March, pro-Khalistan supporters and Amritpal Singh associates were moved out of Punjab after Central Intelligence agencies expressed concern about a possible jailbreak and a repeat of the Ajnala incident.
Previously, the extreme leader was declared a "fugitive" after fleeing earlier in March.
The crackdown occurred nearly three weeks after Amritpal's supporters stormed Amritsar's Ajnala police station on February 23, seeking the release of one of his aides, Lovepreet Toofan.
