'Ask Pakistan about its impact': UP CM Yogi Adityanath confirms use of BrahMos missile in Op Sindoor

PTC News Desk: At the inauguration of the BrahMos supersonic cruise missile production unit at the Uttar Pradesh Defence Industrial Corridor in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath confirmed the use of BrahMos missile in Operation Sindoor.

He contended that the power of BrahMos missile was projected during Operation Sindoor and if somebody missed the impact they could ask Pakistan about its power.

Speaking on terrorism, he remarked that it is like a dog's tail that never straightens and must be dealt with in its own language. He also said that the state government has allotted 200 acres of land for the BrahMos project which will begin the manufacturing in Uttar Pradesh.

"PM Narendra Modi has announced that any act of terrorism going forward will be considered an act of war. The problem of terrorism can not be solved till we don't crush it completely. To crush terrorism, we all have to fight together in one voice under PM Narendra Modi's leadership," he added.

Operation Sindoor was launched in response to the deadly April 22 attack in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir, when terrorists killed 26 people. India launched the operation, specifically targeting key Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM) and Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) bases in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir.
